of the white coat ceremony from last weekend.
Those are beautiful! I love the one of him with his arms around you and Dh!! :) It's nice that both of you and his fiancee were able to be there.
Very, very cool.
Nice--and he's so cute too.
Thanks - although he still has 4 years before he'll be considered a doctor. Although he'll probably still look young. He's 24 and still gets carded more often than not if he gets a beer when he's out. And of course I'll always see my 'baby' when I look at him!
Wow, Pam, you must have been SO proud!

Thanks. Originally they were talking about getting married next summer but between her folks and us we've managed to talk them into waiting another year; at this point they're looking at sometime in 2013, probably June after he gets done with 2nd year and before he starts his 3rd year rotations. She still has a year and a half of undergrad about 200 miles from where he goes to school. They seemed originally to think they'd get married next summer and they'd go to their respective schools while we continued to help support Jason and her folks continued to help support her. Right now she's wanting to go on to vet school or grad school but I think they're going to figure out that the most logical thing would be for her to get a job and then when he's done with school she can go back. As far as how we feel about it.... They've known each other since high school - she was a freshman when he was a senior and he was her section leader in ban. They've stayed in touch and 'crushed' on each other off and on over the years but one or the other was always dating someone else. The started 'going out' last August. She's nice. I feel she's a bit high maintenance - kind of insecure and needy - and I worry about that taking a lot of his time and energy. LOL sometimes I think there's something to be said for arranged marriages where I could pick out his future wife!
Nice pics, Pam.
