Here's hoping your day is off to a good start. We had a huge rain storm yesterday so all the birds are happy they have their sun to dry out the nest. I have a day off today.... finally got Christmas installed at the stores and harvest/Thanksgiving moved to the last frontier!
Speaking of Thanksgiving when will your college students get to come home?
Wednesday night or day?
What do you have planned for the family? Anybody going to get into a big race to the leaf pile?
Are you cooking for everyone or going to someone else's home?
Do you call the bread cubes you put in a turkey stuffing or dressing?
Do you serve rolls crossaints or biscuits... cornbread too?
Are you a sweet potato or mashed potato family?
Will you have a kids table?
What is a special family tradition that makes it Thanksgiving for you?

Speaking of Thanksgiving when will your college students get to come home? I think dd18 is taking the bus Tuesday night. She'll miss her Tuesday night class, but she hasn't missed a single one yet. No class Wed.

Speaking of Thanksgiving when will your college students get to come home? Amanda's vacation goes from Wed-Sun., so we'll pick her up Tuesday morning after her 8:00 a.m. class. I'm not sure what Ash's schedule is. She has the same days off school, but she'll have to work, so she'll just be with us on Thanksgiving day I think.

No leaf piles here! We always put up our Christmas tree the Sat. after Thanksgiving, so we'll do that. Amanda might have to work one day that she's home. We plan on doing alot of eating, alot of game playing and alot of napping!
Are you cooking for everyone or going to someone else's home?
I'll be cooking.
Do you call the bread cubes you put in a turkey stuffing or dressing?
It's stuffing, and it goes in a pan, not inside the turkey (gross!)
Do you serve rolls crossaints or biscuits... cornbread too?
Brown and serve rolls
Are you a sweet potato or mashed potato family?
Both! Praline sweet potatoes and mashed with lots of butter.
Will you have a kids table?
Nope.
What is a special family tradition that makes it Thanksgiving for you?
I don't know that we have any traditions, besides making the same meal year after year. I suppose putting up the Christmas tree on that Saturday and for me, Black Friday shopping!
