Congrats to dd! What a wonderful thing for them to have that student speaker talk. Good luck to dd on her boards! (DS's gf just started the nursing program at their U this semester)

That's wonderful - you must be so proud of her! Does she need to take her boards before she looks for a job? How long is the review program? My mom got her RN when I was in 8th grade and I vaguely remember her traveling to take her boards, but not much else.

It sounds like a great weekend, and especially meaningful for your dd with both her family and her best friend there! :)

There was a very small percentage of the class who already had a job.

Congrats to your dd! We did the whole 9 yards last year when Jason graduated, too - went to all the differnt ceremonies. Best of luck to her on her boards. Will she try to brush up over the next couple months to keep the information fresh?

She does have a friend from high school who went to the same college & is also in nursing, so they can study together.
