The Exorcist came out when I was 14; I don't think my parents would've ok'd it yet!

Both Alien and Jaws were staple scary movies for me.

BOOOOOOOOO ! Your pumpkin sooo lives up to the lore of never choosing a pumpkin with a nick or a bruise because it is bound to be rotten! Tonight I'm going to have to get a flash light to walk by my pumpkins!!! What a scary gourd!

Found that via Google images - I cannot imagine how long that would take to do - wonder if you have to do it in a refrigerated area!?

I do NOT like the slice and dice version of horror.

I have always loved scary movies- but I don't like "slasher" movies - to me they are not "scary". The best of course is Pyscho another very good movie that used to creep me out was the "The Haunting" - the 1963 version not the recent remake. I had read the book, The Haunting of Hill House" and it too is good. The movie always got me with the unseen ghosts or evil that was in the house (or was it?)

The Omen is another favorite of mine -along with Rosemary's Baby
