Did you remember?

This makes for a shorter weekend.... Hate losing that hour but love the light nights!

It is better than it used to be. A long time back they used to do it on work nights which was great for 'fall back' but messed up big time for 'spring forward'.

Now, how are your signs of spring?

Has the sun actually come out two days in a row?

Have you seen my fave flower, daffodils, or forsythia?

We remembered. Signs of spring - see some plants and bulbs coming up around here, but we're to get rain and snow (measurable) tomorrow. Today's dreary because of it. Nothing's blooming yet; just sprigs of stems and leaves coming up. Did see a tree budding.

I went to a show choir competition last night with dd18, who just came home for Spring break Friday night and we were up very late (although her old team won, hooray!) and we were awake at 2 am to reset the clocks. Yikes! I'm normally NOT a night person, so getting up at 7 am to teach Sunday School this morning came way too early.

Personally, I've seen no signs of Spring, but ds8 claimed he saw buds... on the other hand, my dad told me that heavy snow cancelled his birthday plans yesterday in northern MN, so I guess Chicago's weather isn't too bad. :)

We went cycling on Saturday we saw a hillside of yellow mustard plants - it was beautiful.

Hmmm - I've never seen it anywhere, but then I'm not looking. I actually hate mustard, just love the flowers!

How stunning! I always love seeing your lavender, this matches that beauty! Only hills we have that big are the ramps for an overpass along the interstate highways!!

Both flower stands are good reasons to cycle!

When is the ride you do when you dress up? Was it Princess Bride or Cinderella or __________?

LOL! That ride is the Cinderella Classic. Unfortunately, I won't be able to do it this year because....actually, elle, I'll be in your neck of the woods! I'm going to a conference in Orlando on April 8 & 9, so building a vacation around it - taking hubby and visiting my relatives. We hope to see Everglades NP this time. How's the weather in early April?
