Curious... is there an analog clock within your view right now?

What do you use as an alarm clock?

Yes, on my arm (watch) and on my wall (albeit radio controlled). DH uses ds's old iHome for an alarm clock for us at 5:30 every day.

Not within my view here in my home office. We have an analog wall clock in the kitchen and dh has an analog "bird" clock in his office (a different bird call for every hour). I have an analog clock for the bathroom that is currently not working but I hope to get it repaired. My wristwatch is also analog but I only wear it when I am out of the house.

I have a digital alarm clock next to my bed.

HI elc,

How cuckoo to have a clock with bird calls!!:smileyvery-happy::smileysurprised::smileyhappy:

I wear a watch at work not when I am at home too.

The only clock we have is on the dvd, microwave, computers, and phone. We have a sundial out in the garden::smileytongue:

Hi Pamela,

I'm envious of your answer! I sure wish I could rise with the sun. I really dislike having to leave for work in the dark of the morning. Especially in the winter when it is dark when I get off too!

With the clock radio do you wake to music or an alarm?

Hi Sue,

I was thinking we up about the same time... then I remembered you are on CENTRAL!!:smileytongue:

I usually leave my house between 5:20 ~5:30 to make it to the store by 6!

Do you hit the snooze or jump up?

Hi teadrinker,

Do you work from your home office?

Most mornings the solar water pump wakes me up .... I have the pool set to be warmed up before I swim...hard to miss water running down the side of the house! When I miss that I know the cats hear the pool and know to come calling out for breakfast! They love to go out in the dark before sunrise.

We do have a few analog clocks - which we got when we realized our ds10 - about two years ago - had forgotten how to accurately tell time. His 3rd grade teacher had done a quick review before the state testing and I couldn't believe when she mentioned to me he needed to review. He's brilliant at math, but apparently, not so good at telling time! I thought she must be exxagerating until we tried asking him at home... COMPLETELY clueless. Gulp... so much for him knowing "advanced" math, ROFL! He picked it up again in a few days, but since then, we've kept a few analog clocks around.

I don't use alarm clocks, as lame as that sounds. I don't like them. Ds10 is up every day before 6 naturally and he'll wake me. Dh leaves at 5:20 if he goes to the gym or a bit after 6 if not, so again, lots of moving around going on. If I am really desperate, I'll set the clock on my bedside, but that might be once every few years. I never naturally sleep past 7 am, and even that's pretty unusual. And dh knows I hate alarms, lol, so he'll offer to wake me if I need to be up really early.

I jump up so I can shower first; dh leaves first but then I can be doing the hair and makeup thing while he's showering. He works 7-4 and I work 7:30-4:30 (I don't take lunch). No snooze for me. And otherwise my internal clock gets me up around 6 or 6:30 on weekends unless dh has to work (he has a fun Saturday job he does every once in a while)
