Can we admit to a mess? ;)

With the boys gone our house mess moved from the living room to the entry. I confess to dropping everything once I get inside the house.
So I went from "tense" to an "extrovert".
What about you?
Has there been a change since your college students went to school?

Our dining room IS our entryway, so does that make me a shy extrovert? ;)

DS19 doesn't leave til next Saturday - I'd have to say my bedside table is my biggest mess as I always have a book I'm reading, groupons I've printed, various reminders of things, glasses, lamp, the book of memory a day I'm working on for ds...doesn't matter if he's here or not and honestly I don't think I'm insecure! His room is definitely his biggest mess - he used to leave messes everywhere so I guess he's improving in that he's more contained!

Our dining room table is where I unload my stuff, but I don't buy the psychoanalysis.

Hi Jean,
The dining room table when my boys were young and my hubby was out of town was our Lego construction zone... It was lego land until daddy came home on fridays... Didn't know this would make the boys shy??? When we moved here and my kitchen isnt even big enough to hold a table. The only place to pull up a chair is our dining room... Besides the patio.

Hi Sue,
I read before i go to bed too. My nightstand isnt big enough for more than a book and my sippy cup ;)
I end up dropping my readers on the floor.
What is every one reading to put them to sleep?
I am reading vonnegut's hocus pocus... I forgot it was about a college in upstate NY ;)
Ps i have only read about groupons. Are there really a big saver in their program? What kind of savings interest you?

Hi Rose,
Babies taking over a home sounds fun!

My entry is my mudroom so a dining room would be a step up... BUT no one comes to my front door.... Maybe I need to move the driveway to end closer to it haha
Were your family dinner times with your kids limited because of all the traveling hubby does?

His absence probably made it easier to go to tv trays for dinner... he likes the family dinner around the table.

We mostly do restaurants with groupons, but we've also done go-karting, movies/popcorn, car tune-ups, museum/event entrances...they're GREAT for college kid gifts - ds19 doesn't have that much spending money but loves taking his gf out, so we gave him 3 for his birthday and have given him others in the past.
