Upgrades are coming tonight to our boards
Thu, 02-24-2011 - 11:14am

Did you see the announcement on the side bar?

Ivillage has listened and is taking everyone's responses to surveys on the board changes and making an upgrade.

I am going to the Discovery Shuttle launch at 4:50pm eastern time today. Won't be back until after 10pm tonight. My husband's birthday is tomorrow. The boys sent him tickets to the BlueMan Group to celebrate. I'm thinking of making him something blueberry... since our bushes are loaded. Saturday is our seafood festival. Exciting couple days centered around eating planned here.

Soooo will see you on the other side. :smileywink:

Your dh and I share the same bday - happy birthday to him and I'd love that as a present! I have to go to Chicago for a funeral Saturday, leaving tomorrow (funeral 10am Sat). I hear they're going to have snow...fun 300 mile run each way in 24 hours..

Weather reports say it's going to snow at sea level in the Bay Area tomorrow night - that's a BIG deal around here!!

LOL no I didn't see the announcement and I wondered what the heck was going on this morning when I came here and to PoTeens. I thought my settings had somehow gotten messed up. Just when I was getting used to the new format....

It never snows in SF from what I heard.

I saw on the weather site that snow was expected in the SF Bay area
this week.

Well, welcome to Global Warming ladies!

We were suppose to have a storm Friday. It snowed for about 1 hr, hardly anything.

Hi Sam,

How did the shoveling go? Did you sleep at all knowing you had to dig out the vehicle? Did you make the trip without too much slipping and sliding... on time?

Hi teadrinker,

We get the same commercials re: winter snow or how folks are all bundled up in winter hats, gloves, and scarves with nothing really like the winter weather we are having... I was in my pool today... and in shorts tonight!

Marketing folks really could do a better job:smileysurprised: learning their markets!

We were laughing with some Canadians the other day, I had commented on the good deal they had gotten on sandals...

did not expect to get too much wear out of them :smileyhappy:they said they were headed back the next day...open toe shoeland was not where they were headed

Seems like the seasons really have slipped around... our winter came in December... used to be we never got any cold snaps until Feb.

Anybody else seen this?
