How much homework does your SPED child have on average a night?

I wish Nathaniel got his homework like that. He does get his spelling like that and it helps alot. That way we can do an extra spelling assignment on a night when he doesn't have too much other stuff. Most nights his homework takes 30mins to an hour though. He has more homework than most children I know in other districts around us.

DS gets all his homework on Monday, to be turned in on Friday. I insist he do some of it each day but I try to keep it to a half hour or less. If homework deteriorates into meltdown (which it does-- a LOT), any additional work is a waste of time.

I guess it varies on what he didn't finish in class that day.
