Nathaniel's SPED teacher called me yesterday and told me its been 3 years since he was evaluated for SPED services and started them, I know I can't believe this much time has gone by.

I did not know there was a way to opt out either - honestly, I would double check this with Wright's Law.

Nathaniel was evald. for OT every year when he was in that for his weak fine motor skill.

You are not "getting around" the re-eval. That WAS the re-eval. It must happen every 3 years, and it did. He was found continued eligible at the time "no additional info needed" was checked. And YOU should not have been the one checking that box, there should have been some actual documentation/data/assessment used to make the determination.
Ugh, never mind.

Yep that's what happened. No additional information was needed. The SPED teacher checked the box and I signed the paper. Thank you for your input.
