How old/what grade is your child?

It actually DOES help to be the squeaky wheel at the start of the school year, esp with a new teacher.

I'm sorry, but not all states use the same lingo.

Push-in services are provided in the classroom as opposed to taking a child out to work them in another setting. She comes in 4-5 days a week for an hour during writing and there are 3 children on IEP's with services for writing.

for us 'push in services' is called inclusion. Nathaniel has inclusion for Math. It is interesting how many different terms there are out there.

Interesting. Our district uses push-in for services in the classroom and pull-out for services outside the classroom.

Inclusion isn't necessarily a "service". If the child receives services, it is usually specificed where (sped or gen ed). I had not heard the term "push-in" used before. We do say "pull out".
