Wow-- both classes at once? That sounds really tough-- our district has pre-algebra for selected 6th graders and then they take algbera in 7th and geometry in 8th. But you know what-- if your son is like mine, I'll bet he'll undersand more working of fthe computer than in a class setting taking notes. Give that young man a hug and tell him congratualtions!
Thanks! He was in Honors Math in 6th, but then they revamped how they did the math courses and was in pre-algebra in 7th. He could've moved up to Algebra after the first tri-mester, but he didn't feel he was ready for it yet. I'm really hoping that he'll be more motivated on the computer.
One thing in his corner, I loved geometry (and algebra) when I was in school and can provide him help at home :)
I don't think I could put that double load on Nathaniel. But it is awesome that your son feels good about trying it. I do hope he does very well with it.
