Kidspiration and Inspiration are programs that help with writing.

Sorry! I really do appreciate you giving me some ideas, and those may be things that we do need down the road. I did not mean to sound like I didn't appreciate your help. In my house we quote the Simpson's and the D'oh is meant to be on me - not on you. I buried my prediction needs in the post and it wasn't apparent what it was that I needed,

I use Co-Writer for older kids, it's the best.

Thanks! It is good to hear that Co-writer is kid friendly (if maybe a little older kid friendly.) You are right, my son is beyond the pictures. He is actually very good at grammar (the book we use means that he mostly does corrections or fill in the blank, which is fine for his writing abilities.) I think that the picture things would slow him down - he has a very good vocabulary and maybe that would fit, but without seeing it, I have trouble seeing how it would work with some of the sophisticated stuff that he says. Thanks!
