I was watching the news this morning and saw a very interesting segment.

Our friend with Aspergers was afraid of anything not "real" or involving magic so his mom had to explain about Santa at a young age. Which meant that when he told my younger kids, I had to refer to the "Polar Express" and say that he just wasn't hearing the bell anymore. This boy really hated any costumes outside of Halloween, so I think that his mother took him a couple of times to things with Santa, but didn't push it after he was about 4. I can see how this would be helpful for some kids though.

That sounds nice, where do the autistic children see him then?

from what I gathered it was still done at the mall but not during regular mall hours. I could be wrong though, it didn't really elaborate on that.
