Hi to all!   None of your names seem familiar to me, I haven't checked in here in years  I was the cl for this board and surviving middle school back around 2000.   I just stumbled on this board and thought I'd take a look around.   Funny how the threads and topics are still very similar-although social media is a much bigger issue now- honestly I'm glad I raised my kids before Facebook!    I'm glad the boards are still here.   This forum helped me through so many issues!  My kids are all adults now.   When I started my oldest was 12- he's 27 married and expecting his first child.  My daughter is 24 and finishing up her masters.  My baby is 21 and he's graduating college in May- jist  wanted to tell y'all that "this all will pass". Your kids will grow up.  They will make it through middle school and high school and will probably become the wonderful  grown up you'd hope they'd be!  Linda

I do remember you! My boys are now 23 and 26. I was very active here years ago and cl-d the Parents of Teens board for years. Sounds like your kiddos are doing well. My boys are also doing well - now self sufficient and living on their own. There are still times when I wish they were still in high school as challenging as it may have been at times....

Hello Linda!! Nice of you to stop by and give us that insight! I often wonder how my 4 and 6 year olds' experiences in middle and high school will be compared to my freshman in college's experience. Technology has taken such a hold on education and life! Heck, I take my 6 year old's spelling lists and put them into an ipad app for her to do different activities with them in addition to her homework to help her learn them.
