This is a consistently active board and suddenly I'm hearing crickets so I want to make sure everyone is okay and able to post. Update me here on your specific issues and if you're not able to even post, trying PM'ing me or email: email@example.com. You can also check here for updates:
We want to be sure that each and every one of you ( allismom8, arryl, Lam42, treddlesewingmachine, Theresa1107 and many more!) are able to log in and post, just as could before the relaunch of our boards.
Other misc replies to questions I've seen in other posts on here:
Subscriptions: I actually have gotten these to work for me recently, yay! However, I'm still having a lot of people tell me that it's not working for them, even after following my instructions. But if you'd like to try, here's what I did :
First off, I've only gotten them to work when using Google Chrome as my browser. Now, once you're in a thread that you want to subscribe to, you'll want to click the "subscribe" button. The subscribe button is located under thread options. Thread options can be found ight above the box that says "find a conversation". Under thread options, click subscribe. Sometimes I hit subscribe and nothing happens. Sometimes, I see in green letters at the top "Your subscription was successfully submitted".
After you've done that, you'll want to change your subscription settings to receive email notifications. Here's how to do that:
- go to My Bookmarks and Subscriptions
- Click on Tab 2
- You should see a list of threads you've hit "subscribe" to, while in the thread.
- Click on Edit
- Under "send method", choose "HTML mail" from the dropdown menu.
Mobile Issues- (using your iPad or iPhone to view the community topics and boards)- these are definitely still buggy but are on the "known issues" list for our tech team.
Feel free to ask about anything I didn't address above. If you just want to post and complain, well, that's okay too. I know things are frustrating right now but I PROMISE, it's just temporary. Our tech team is working like crazy to get all the kinks ironed out for us.
