I know its only March, and quite a few haven't even had spring break yet, but it is already the start of summer camp sign up season, getting applications in for summer programs, etc.

Not much really changes for DS outside there being no school lol. He still has piano and tae kwon do on his regular days. He usually does a show in the summer that requires daily rehearsals and activity through July but he typically does a couple during the year too. Each summer he does like to do some sort of sports camp in whatever sport he feels like he needs more growth in. This year he is talking about baseball camp but if we can't find one, it'll be basketball.

DD will be working vacation bible camp and doing a volunteer camp counselor job at the parks and rec. if she does a few volunteer summers there it helps in getting a summer job. Her older brother did it and just found out last week he got the job he applied for. She will also have dance classes and a volleyball camp. She will have enough to keep her busy and still have down time.

What do you normally do with your m/s'er during the summer, do they get a good amount of time off to relax and decrompress from the school year, do they do volunteer work, summer school or camps?

We've only signed up for one camp so far - 6 days for ds9 and ds11 at our church camp - very traditional sleeping-in-cabins, campfires, canoeing, creek walks, hiking, etc.
Ds11 will likely do summer orchestra again, and ds9 might need summer math, depending on his placement for middle school math. We do space camp every other year (since it's in two-year grade ranges) and this will be our year off I think. :)

I usually give him time to just relax and chill out, especially after a tough year. He'll be focusing on getting his TKD black belt, so that will probably take some time this summer.
