These stories depress me.

What makes these teens go to such lengths to show their hatred towards another human being?   The girls that were arrested are only 12 and 14, the girl they were bullying who committed suicide was only 12.    The police were still building a case until the 14 yo posted on her FB page that she did bully the girl but didn't care, in much more graphic language.

Do you see this type of stuff going on with your middle schoolers?  It's so scary how mean these kids can be to each other.

It is sad, and what's sadder are some of the comments by people saying it was the "bullied" girl's fault because she didn't stand up for herself. People don't realize how many avenues kids will go to now to torment some and its just sad. Its also pretty bad that the girls that were doing the bullying were able to so freely because they obviously had a lot of unsupervised access to FB, Twitter, social media, etc. and even if they were supervised, unfortunately there are adults that are just fine with their kids' acting like this towards and its just sad now that we have gotten to this stage.

I hate how naive the parents seem to be:

A man who answered the phone at the 14-year-old's Lakeland home said he was her father and told The Associated Press "none of it's true."

"My daughter's a good girl and I'm 100 percent sure that whatever they're saying about my daughter is not true," he said.
