Forward facing carseat

Hi there!

I have a 3 year old who is very skinny, 24 lbs currently. She rode rear-facing until 28 months, but now rides forward facing.

She's nearing the end of using the Roundabout height wise and we are going to pass it on to her younger sister.

Now I'm looking for a replacement seat for her. She's not going to be in a booster for years, given her current weight and slow gain. I'm looking for a very tall backed forward-facing harness car seat. I'm willing to spend the money for the right seat. What recommendations might you have?

Thanks in advance for your help! I always appreciate the tips I get here.

If you want a harnessed booster that turns into a regular booster, I would recommend the Britax Frontier 85 or the Graco Nautilus.

How tall is your little lady? does she have a longer torso or legs? I also have a tiny girl. She's 30 lbs and 37.25 inches at almost 4 years old. In fact she's still in the graco comfort sport FF. She could still go rearfacing. FF the straps are at shoulder level so i'm also looking for another carseat for her.

If you're daughter has longer legs and is on the short side i would look into the Evenflo Chase. Harness goes up to 16.5 but i figure that if she's already almost 4 and the graco comfort sport only goes to 13.5 she should stay at least 6 harnessed in the evenflo chase. It's 51 dollars at walmart.com. If she's taller and has a longer torso, i would check out at the evenflo maestro too. It goes harnessed to 50 lbs and the harness heights go up to 18 inches. It's about 80 at target and sears.
The nautilus is a good choice but seeing we have tiny kids i think it's over kill and its much more expensive.
