Not to complain (LOL) but this board is very hard to read, and not just because of the new organization----the print is way too small for these old eyes!! And I don't even need glasses.

I read this board with the AOL 8.0 including the popup stopper and have no problem. Sorry it isn't working for you.

You could try minimizing your AOL and using the IE under it.

this is awful!! It seems to take about 1 min just to read each post. I don't have time for this. I don't think I will be staying around. I am going to try to find another freebie board, I'll post if I find a good one. See ya'll later.

Thank you. I just found out what the problem is. AOL has an automatic pop up stopper and you can't read this board in outline format without pop-ups. Now I have to figure out how disable the pop up stopper in AOL or in IE.

A lot of the things on AOL are made so that they can make more money by requiring you to use their software by making it hard to get into other areas.

Go ahead and sign into AOL. Then open Internet Explorer. You should be able to get to these boards with no problem in IE. Same thing if you're using iChat in the iVillage chat rooms. You'll need to open IE to use it.

I used to have AOL but I finally got tired of it and switched!

Does anyone else use AOL to read the board? Itried to use AOL and the outline format and it doesn't work. AOL told me that it is not a "user friendly" format and is not compatible with them. Now I love this board and I didn't want to switch but I may have no choice. Can anyone help me?

I agree, this absolutely sucks. With two small children (21 & 5 months) I have very little time. I usually skim the board pretty quickly...You can't skim this format quickly & my time is at a premium. I'll try it for a day or so, then I guess I'll have to find some new groups. I can't believe that they spoiled a good thing...and boy, were these boards a really good thing.

Peace, Lisa

I'll give these new boards a try but I think I'll probably go in search of something easier to read and search through... I will miss my morning ritual of looking for good freebies!
