I guess I would like to get the office\school room unpacked and set up...and it would be nice to get the living room finished but that would be a lot of boxes we will see what happens

Luckily DH has a flexible work schedule and is around to help with a lot of my list. We've hired out the painting and decided on a mover since most of our furniture is heavy oak.

Wow, that's a lot to get done! Good luck with the move. That has to be my least favorite thing to do ever.

Carol, how is the job issue going? Have you heard anything back yet?

Me to resolve a issue with work.  They assigned me work I cannot do. I am in a heated battle with the EEOC over it. I have a meeting with work on Tuesday morning to discuss my work options.

wow, I know I couldn't do all that in 1 month! LOL I hope to have my kids in school by the end of the month! Are you moving very far? We are just moving across town, so it's a huge pain in the rear. Trying to decide if we should just rent a truck and try to get it all in 1 load, or borrow a pickup and make many, many loads. Neither sounds very appealing to me!

Most of my goals are move related-have master bedroom painted, switch out a light fixture, buy and hang blinds/curtains/, consult nusery about monarch garden, clean out garden, closet organizer hung, entire house moved in bit by bit and organize as we go-no living in chaos!  Send out change of addres cards, research and reinstate some form of tv service, new licenses

Research SC restaurants for vacation-wanting amazing food, not chains or same old stuff

Book and pay for as many trips ahead of time as possible for vacation

Start planning TX vacation- decide on length of stay, check with pet sitter, decide on activities

Start holiday shopping

Set up school schedule

Decide on and pay for extra curriculars

Good luck! We've been planning our move for months now. It's finally happening at the end of the month.

get my household moved, clean out my parents old place, get the kids enrolled in their new school (which includes trying to get an exception for all my kids to attend different schools, out of their new district), and find a job. All this has to happen after August 14, when I return from out of town, and the move has to be finished by August 21.

Resolve a work issue. Or I might be out of a job. I am being made to do a position I can't do. I filed a charge with the EEOC. Because the work I now was assigned that starts in late August causes me panic attacks.
