2. Make menus for each week (spend less this way) Did this 80% of the time and it worked well

3. Finish last of fall clothes to consignment Dropped these off last Sat

4. Declutter bathroom drawers Still working on this

5. Continue Christmas shopping (started a little last month) Did a little but not as much as I would have liked

6. Apple/pumpkin picking and hay ride with family did this! Very fun!

Check out motivated moms . com for your #3 goal. I use their weekly schedule and am loving it! Kind of late in the year to get it now, but you could think about it for 2011. I know I'll be ordering it again! It's worked out great for me.

How does it work in doing the laundry? It never seems to end, especially in the winter when they are all wearing double layers. How much time each day do you spend? With the 2 little ones on opposite nap schedules someone is always up and I can't seem to get anything done.

Laundry is on a daily checklist that is on the side. That checklist also includes things like run/empty dishwasher, make beds, read to kids, plan/cook dinner, etc Honestly, I don't use that part much because I have a pretty good routine of that stuff already.

But I really like the list of the other chores, broken down by days. I probably spend less than an hour doing that stuff. I don't spend a solid hour, just do it in bits & pieces. For example, today's chores are clean computer screen & mouse, declutter/organize night stands in childrens'/guest rooms, clip children's nails, spend time working on basement/attic or other storage space, dust master bedroom. Sometimes I do them all, sometimes I don't depending on my time that day. I can usually catch up on things on the weekend because Sat. doesn't have many on its list.

Plus things come around on around on a regular basis so if I skip it one week, it will be there again in a week or 2.

Hope this makes sense. Let me know if you have more questions.

I won't go into the details since I had a long list of random things, but lets just say that I didn't do so hot. I spent a lot more time concentrating on the tax preparation class I started than I planned plus some time being sick (which I didn't plan, of course!) so I didn't get much done. I carried many of my goals over to November; hopefully I can get them accomplished!
