Anyone have goals for February?

I love reading what others hope to accomplish; it's motivating to me! Here's my list--I'm such a *list person*--for February......

1. Continue w/the shopping exile. Try to come in w/lower spending amounts than I had in Jan.

2. Declutter. I have a couple of specific areas to go through--3 boxes of kids' books I took off bookshelf a few weeks ago, a small dresser of vhs movies, the drawers in my dresser. Possibly our master bedroom closet if I finish those.

3. Finish taxes and FAFSA. Hopefully this will be crossed off the list by next weekend.

4. Plan and take weekend trip. The kids have a 4-day weekend for Presidents' Day. We're thinking about heading up to Hannibal to see Mark Twain's boyhood home and then swing over to Springfield, IL to do the Lincoln stuff.

5. Stop procrastinating on making a few phone calls to set up some dr. appts. Why is that something I even need to put on a list???????

Okay here are February Goals:

1. put extra 120.00 onto debt. (I already accomplished that).

2. put 200 into savings.

3. Meal Plan

4. Declutter bedroom and Mason's room.

5. Set up a workout calendar and stick to it. :)

I feel really good about the goals that I want to accomplish.

WTG on already getting that extra on your debt, Jess! Are you planning on trying to add more to that since you accomplished that so early in the month??

Well I'm going to try to put another 100 towards debt. But I want to put the 200 into savings first. This month is looking really good though. :)

Hi I'm Lauren from NC, I didn't see a rollcall thread so I'm using this as one :)

Goals for Feb:

1. Basically survive the month. Paychecks are unusually low this month bc I'm a SAHM and my fiance was injured last month and then one day after he returned to work we had a snow storm and he works outside so he has missed a lot and he was also out yesterday for a folllow up appt. So far were doing just fine keeping our heads above water, but I'm REALLY nervous about seeing this next paycheck lol.

2, Cut any eating out for the rest of the month. We only ate out once last week but there is just no wiggle room this month! I don't know why it use to be so hard for us it feels so easy now to not eat out.

3. Find a site for our wedding, we just started planning our wedding and were getting married in 5 months. were crazy. Its because we are getting married on our 5 year anniversary.

4. Cut back on sodas!!!! This is a big one

5. Finish cleaning out the kitchen cabinets. Started a week ago and are halfway done but its been a CRAZY week!

4.

Welcome to the board! A roll call is probably buried here somewhere, lol! Glad you posted to our goal thread. You can also post a separate intro if you want; not sure how many will see you here, kwim?

WTG on the eating out. I'm glad it doesn't seem as hard for you to skip that now. But I can definitely relate on the soda thing. That is one thing I constantly struggle with and have for years!

We'll be doing mid-month & EOM check-ins for our goals. Hope to see you post your progress there!
