I have found my new home!

I feel like I have found my new home!! I am cheap QUEEN (or as I like to call it - frugal). I am all about the coupons - I scour the newpaper and mail for coupons and only buy stuff that is on sale. If you look at my grocery bill, ALMOST every item is under 1$ with the exception of a few costlier necessities. Growing up I was known as dollar store queen because it was my favorite place to buy Christmas gifts (some of the better $ stores actually have nice stuff!)

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself - my name is Krista, I'm 23 and from Toronto. From what I've read of your posts I think I'll fit in just fine, you guys make me so proud with some of your discount hunting strategies and achievements!! Way to go!

Welcome, welcome, welcome! So glad you feel right at home here. I felt the same way when I found this board and look what happened to me. LOL

Sounds like you'll have lots of room to add your own ideas and experiences.

This is a great group of people to hang out with :)

I always go to the dollar store for gifts. I like to make gift baskets or kits for people. Like buying a bunch of bath stuff, sponges, bath salts, bath pillows, bubble bath , etc all from the dollar store with a basket. Kitchen kits with utensils and a pot or pan or bucket. Cleaning kits with sponges, buckets, scrubbers, etc...

all found at the dollar store.

I go there before any where else and can do tons with all their little things.

Especially parties...who-hoo...look out when I plan a party. There's details below in the "Huge Cookout this Sun. So Excited" Post under Parties.

Welcome and I think I met my dollar store twin.
