Mid-month goal check

How's everyone doing on their March goals? We had a good number of people post goals, so I'm interested to see how everyone else is doing!

I'm not doing too bad............

1. Control the amount I spend on household items. Doing ok on this. I've been trying to stay out of Walgreens, Walmart & Target. It helps that I've been extremely busy w/subbing and chaperoning field trips.

March Goals:

*put extra 163 on cc.

I ended up putting 200 on the cc

* change mailings addresses, I always put this off.

Still haven't did anything about this

* workout outside at least 5 times this month. I'm not an outdoors kind of girl, but I have a boy that will be 4 in May and he needs to learn some sports. So that's what we both will be doing.

I am doing a little.

* declutter laundry room.

Haven't worked on that also. :)

Here I go:

1. Cut the Household budget to $180 a week, with $40-$60 being set aside in cash for emergencies or additional costs. (This may seem drastic, but I am getting ready for the worse case scenerio, because I will not have a job in September with my current school). I have cut the budget down to $180, but it has been a big adjustment for us. This is the first week that I have saved the $40 dollars away. Cost of living is so high here in Michigan, it is ridiculolous, so what seems reasonable is not enough some weeks.

2. All additional money leftover each week from household budget and gas budget will be placed into the savings account. This is happening automatically by DH.

3. Pay 6 months worth of car insurance from tax return, and then bank remainder of
