I unabashedly, and unashamedly, throw out the mouse with the mousetrap! Actually, I have DH or DS do it when possible because I am just too squeamish. Yuck!

That said, I like that the article recognizes that being frugal is being careful with your money and realizing you can choose how to spend it. The couple in the article line dry year round (among other money saving measures that may sound extreme), but they also took their adult family to Disney World.

I also like that the author points out that not everybody has the option to save money in the same ways that his parents do.

I LOVED this article. We live in such a disposable society that I beleive that we have lost the value of most of everything. I often think about to either the Amish (my friends laugh at me ALL the time becuase I LOVE the Amish, never met 1, but I LOVE them) or women in the depression those women have GOT to be rolling there EYES at us now-
