Well, when you say overspent are you just talking about food or other items too? And does this also include eating out?
A couple of obvious tips:
1. Make a list and stick to it.
2. Don't go when you're hungry - that is when impulse buys are the biggest.
3. Use coupons, buy generic, don't overbuy. Look at ads for bargains.
Food shopping is one area I struggle with!
Take inventory of what you have already in the house and make a grocery list from that, using the sale flyers, planning meals for the rest of the week
But are you over due to food or does that include other items too?
