Let us know you're here! And, if you'd like to share, what's your biggest budgeting challenge?

I'm Kelly near St. Louis, MO. Right now our biggest budgeting challenge is trying to get used to the timing of dh's income. He's been working as an independent contractor (self-employed) so nothing is on a regular basis as he bills as a job is completed.

Could you pack a snack for after swim team? Something that your ds could eat in the car on the way home & take the edge off his hunger? I'm thinking something on the healthy side like string cheese, piece of fruit, container of yogurt, serving of dry cereal (something not too sugary). These are some things that help tide my boys over until dinner time if we're out & dinner is later than usual.

Thanks, we are pretty excited to be moving it is just a lot of work!

That is hard with a schedule like that. We have the same issue when soccer starts and both of the older kids have practice 2-3 nights a week. I don't have any suggestions, I try to pack something they can eat on the way there/on the way home but I hate making them have a cold dinner especially when spring soccer tends to be cold and damp. GL figuring something out, I know I need a better plan than we had this fall.

I'm Vickie- use to post here regularly and would like to get back to focusing more on being frugal.
