I am so sorry you are going through a rough time right now. I don't know what to say or have any words of wisdom. But heres a {{{(((HUG))))}}}} when you need it. I do have one suggestion. If you could get involved in a church the people are almost always willing to help out. Our church bought a widow a car, fix all her minor and major house repairs, etc. So having someone come and take care of a few children and help someone out wouldn't be an issue. I know this isn't the only reason to go to church but hey whatever gets people in the door might just cause them to stay for other reasons. Think about it and maybe look around and see if you can find a church you like. Also maybe look into Moms groups and get to know some people. The more people you know the more can help. I'm sorry I dont know what else to say. I just pray times look up for you soon.

Just wanted to send you some ((((hugs))). You are really going thru a rough time right now. So sorry about the MS; that must be so scary. Do hope that you are in remission now. I do know what it is like to be sick since I have spent the last 10 months dealing with surgeries, chemo and radiation, and it is so hard not being able to do what you want to do. But I am fortunate that my dh and family were so supportive.

Sorry that things are rough financially now. I don't know what line of work that your husband is in, but could he take a part time job in addition to his business? Is there something that you can do at home or maybe just a few hours a week?

Like the previous poster mentioned, some churches are full of wonderful people wanting to help. And my daughter's kindergarten teacher was so great in helping me find someone to take care of my son while I went for radiation treatments. So there are good, caring people out there who want to help; it is just hard finding them sometimes. ;-)

Hugs and prayers,

Kathy

Hugs to you and your family. As an RN, I might suggest that you see if you can find a support group for others who live with MS. If you live in a rural community it might be more difficult, but even if it is further away, you may find valuable resources for you and your family. The church thing is also a great idea. Does your church have a parish nurse or health ministry program. They may be able to coordinate help for you as well.

Blessings to you and your family.

If you'd post your budget, maybe we can help you find ways to cut expenses. As a SAHM, I consider it my job to save money wherever possible, just as it is my DH's to earn it.

Why not go online for a MS support group and look for a local chapter.

Good luck.
