I don't think I will ever go back to Stein Optical again. They never did my glasses right.

Ok stopped in Dr. Wagners Optical after work. Ask about reusing a frames. They said if they can get a lens. But if I was buying brand new everything. 300$ without buying the extended warranty. The 99$ deal was on single vision lens. I said I do not want contacts. They said then take 2 glasses. I said No can you cut me a deal to discount something off my bifocal They weren't sure they could. I said well 300$ is a bit much now. I'll think about it. Thanks for your time.

You can get cheap eyeglasses online, incl for bifocals.

my husband bought some from zenni, and he was pleased with them. I think they were $30 or so. He also bought progressive glasses from the eye doctor, and they were $600-crazy!

Do you have a Walmart with an optical nearby? They put bifocals in my daughter's existing frames for just the cost of the lenses ($49.99), no Transitions (but it was available).

I was thinking on the lines of online glasses.

Do you belong to Costco, BJ's or Sam's Club?

I get my glasses at Costco and find them to be far less expensive than any place else, including Walmart!

As a former optician eyeglasses will always be way high at a private optometrists office.
