Convection toaster oven ?

Dh gave me a convection toaster oven for Christmas. I've been wanting a toaster oven for awhile now. But I'm sure dh didn't realize the *convection* difference from a regular one.
I need some BTDT convection advice. I know the baking times are supposed to be shorter. That's about it and that's about all the owner's manual says. Is there some guideline, like 25% less time, etc.? Or is it going to be a *trial by error* type of thing.
