Do you think all brands of real butter are about the same

Butter is about the one food item I splurge on.

I do notice a difference in taste of some of the store brands. I do like that Aldi's brand of butter. I used to buy Cabot often when I could find it on sale. Now I pretty much stick to aldi's

I almost always buy the store brand. Whatever is the cheapest, and I stock up when it's on sale. I don't notice a difference between the Kroger brand and Darigold, but I think Land O Lakes is a lighter flavor, which I don't care for.

I buy what is on sale, but lately I haven't found any good sales on butter. Last year I bought butter for $2, but this year $2.89 is the cheapest I can find.

I have found generic brands works well and never had my dh complain the brands I have used were great vaule, shop n save, beaver meadow and there might be a few others
I just saw at aldi's in my area there brand of butter for $1.99 per lb which is a good deal
lately around my area butter is around $2.50 on sale so I stock up then

I've been very happy with the butter I get at Sam's - a 4-pack for a good price. Seeing as I have a picky teen she has never said anything about it tasting funny.

I buy which ever is on sale. I try to get it for about $1.99 a pound. Shoprite has it on sale here for that once in awhile. They just had Hotel Bar on sale for that too. No one in my house knows the differernce. i will use margerine for baking though if I have it.
