So, I've started going to Aldi's a little bit more these days.

Bananas are iffy there, most times they are fine. I buy them when they are a still quite green because dh eats like 3 a day so that way I dont have to constantly go buy them, but I have bought green ones there before that never ripened. I have also bought perfectly ripe ones that look good from the outside but are rotten on the inside. Most of their other produce is great, and much cheaper.

We also really like their frozen hamburger patties, their safari shaped chicken nuggets, flour tortillas, ice cream products and dh loves their brand of pizza rolls. I am also very happy with their hamburger and hot dog buns.

You might want to check out this thread about Aldi's. There are a couple of pretty comprehensive lists from different people about what they like/don't like from Aldi's. I do about 90% of my shopping there and have been for the past

I love Aldis! the only thing that I was not happy with is their boxed stuffing. I save so much money shopping there! Every now and then I will take a break because we get sick of buying the same things, but before long I am back because of the savings! Their iced bottled coffee is great and is only .99! I know it's cheaper to make a pot at home, but that's a nice quick treat for me. Produce is much cheaper but it's hit or miss. All of their bagged snacks -chips, pretzels, etc. are good and MUCH cheaper than our local grocery store. We forgot tortilla chips at Aldis (usually around $1 there) and had to buy them at Giant Eagle. The cheapest bag I found there was $3! It killed me to pay that!

I'd stay far far away from their Fit & Active product line.

Another fan of the Fit & Active line. The turkey meatballs are the BEST!!! We also like the microwave popcorn and the *wheat thin* crackers. I know I've bought other items in that

My dd loves the fit and active chicken noodle soup, she takes it in her lunchbox several days a week. We also like the string cheese too.
