With the holidays I have tried very hard to make and stick to a menu.
Sunday- Takeout Pizza (family movie night)
Monday- Tuna Helper with broccoli
Tuesday- Minestrone soup and fresh bread.
Wednesday- Beef Strognaff, Green Bean Casserole (DH's family Christmas Dinner)
Thursday- Baked Fish, rice, veggie
Friday- Homemade Pizza, salad
Saturday- Baked Chicken, veggie and cous cous
Sunday Pan fried chicken breast served over Orzo Rosamarina pasta, steamed broccoli
Monday Hot roast beef sandwiches, french fries veggie to be decided
Tuesday Stuffed pork chops, mash potatoes, mixed veggies
Thursday We eat at a friends.
I need to finish planning out the week. Tonight we had oven-fried catfish nuggets and cleaned out the fridge of all the little odds & ends that my mom sent home w/us on Christmas Eve.
Tomorrow night will be breakfast for dinner. I have breakfast casserole leftover from Christmas morning. I'll add fresh fruit & toast to round out the meal.
Guess I should go finish planning the week......it never ends, does it???

I've been terrible about this for months now...so no better time than the present to get back on track I suppose!
Sunday - Homemade vegetable soup, biscuits
Monday - Chickpea, potato and turnip curry w/basmati rice and salad (a turnip came with my soup greens, so I am trying to use it up. I dislike turnips, so I am hoping this is good!)
Tuesday - My ds's 13th birthday, so we are taking him out for a big celebratory lunch. Dinner, if anything, will be leftovers.
Wednesday - Pasta w/meatballs, steamed vegetable
Thursday - Appetizer type things. We always do this on NYE. Shrimp cocktail, mozzarella sticks, chips and dip, etc...
Friday - Oven bbq'd chicken, baked potatoes, steamed corn, salad
Saturday - Soup and sandwiches, maybe
Sunday - Hamburgers, homemade oven fries, raw vegetable crudite
Finally sat down and planned out the rest of the week.....
Tonight is beef stew
