I really should just bring cash to these parties because I spent more than I wanted.

Yes - now I do control my spending at the parties.

went to one myself. Same thing. Bought a little more than i should. I hate to say no when friends have these parties but they always break my budget.

I'd rather buy 1 or 2 smaller things and book a party to get free stuff. I love Pampered Chef stuff, but I wish it really worked as well as I think it should. Most of it does, but the rubber scrapers get yucky after about 2 years (probably because I use them every single day! LOL) I bought a 10 in deep fry pan for 50% off when I had my party, and it was $50 at that price. It's supposed to be non-stick and guaranteed for life. I've had to send it back 4 times, and now they refuse to replace it again. It's useless for things like eggs. If it's something that doesn't matter if it sticks, then it's ok. And I take super careful care of that pan, it's always hand washed with a wash cloth and dish soap, not put in the dishwasher even though it says it's dishwasher safe. It's a disappointment. I guess I expect things with a life time guarantee to last that long, like tupperware does!
