I know they are for a good cause (I was a scout from brownies to seniors and a leader for my daughter's troop for a couple years)...but at 3.50 a box for just a few cookies, they aren't a good deal

thankfully they only sell them once a year...I bought 8 boxes!

(minor victory...even with the cookies, we still came in under the grocery budget the last two weeks)

I ordered a bunch too...I don't even know what they cost, lol! They used to be $3.00 a box, but I'm thinking they probably went up in price (everything else has).

I don't eat them, but my family adores them, so they are a once a year treat! And like a PP said, they are for a good cause.

They are $3.50 here. We bought two boxes for us and two for U.S. troops overseas. Did you know GS will send boxes you donate to service people at no charge! Now that's a deal!

I just go with the fact that it's just once a year and then buy a ton and chow down!

I haven't seen any Girl Scout Cookies this year. But I'm not counting it as a Frugal Victory!

Wow, Here in Ohio they are only $3 a box. I feel that they are well worth the money bc I remember being a GS and all of the great things our troop got to do thanks to that money.

But yes they are quite yummy. and they freeze for up to 6 months!
