Could you please share you cell phone situation? What's your monthly bill, how many lines do you have, are you texting, what specific plan are you on (especially if it's a good deal) and are you happy with your provider?

Thanks a million! We are on the unt for a good money saving situation. (isn't everyone :)

I have an iPhone and I pay $65 a month. I get unlimted data, 200 texts (which I never use) and like 600 regular minutes and 1000 night and weekend minutes or something. I'm not really sure since I never use all my minutes. I have the lowest possible plan. The data is the key for me, I use my phone for everything (the phone is the least interesting feature). I get a discount on my service thru my employer. I post this just to give you an idea what's out there, not because I think it's frugal. My phone is a splurge for me, I know the iPhone is nit the cheapest way to have a cell phone but like I said, the phone part is a small part if what I use.

We have Alltel. We have 900 anytime minutes, unlimited nights and weekends, and 15 my circle numbers (numbers we call for free always). We do not have texting or any extras at all. We have 4 phone lines and we pay $121 a month. I am going to add unlimited texting to my dd's phone in sept for her birthday and it runs $20 a month extra.

We still have a landline since I was able to get a package with our internet that makes it less than $30/mo with unlimited included long distance & caller ID. DH's cell phone is paid for by his employer so we just play for mine and my 11 yr old's phones.

DS & I use Virgin Moblile which costs me about $34/mo for DS to text and have a little talk time (which he doesn't usually use) and me to have 200 minutes to talk and little extra for texts. I don't use it that much and my talk minutes roll over so I think I have like 700 on it now.
