I think we're *finally* back to paperless for the things we can do that way.

yes and no. I don't mail checks at all, but I pay all my bills thru my banks website. That means that the things that can be electronic transfer are, but some, they print and mail some checks. The only checks I physically write myself are for school things like pictures, yearbooks, etc. I go thru almost a full check book every school year with 3 kids in school!

I pay all our bills online. I been paperless a couple years now. Indirectly that saves money. No paper checks to buy. No stamps to buy. I just load up all my bills on the credit unions website. In the bill paying section. Just put in the dollar amounts and hit send. They do the rest. I can have the bills paid in 10 minutes or less. No writing out checks and taking them to the mail box.

it's really pretty amazing, isn't it? Paying bills used to take me about an hour, sometimes more each month. Now, it's about 10 minutes, usually less, and I can do it from any internet connection anywhere, whether I'm at home, work or school

Online... I love that I can set it up for auto pay on the stuff that is the same every month. Just one less thing to worry about. The variable stuff I still like to enter and set up the payment every month. I want to be looking at those bills and see how we did and make sure it is in line with what I expected to pay. I actually need to order new checks, we use so few but I'm finally getting low and we still need to have them on hand for the things you can't do electronically.

Me will only log on to the credit union account on the home computer. Our internet is lock stock and bolt. Dh has everything all secured with our router box. A password that is almost hack proof. I say almost. Because yes there could be someone smart enough to maybe get in. But he made it very difficult to do that.

We do all of our bills online through quicken, most things are paid automatically like mortgage, car payment, etc. Really, except for the bills like water, electric, etc that are different each month, we don't really do much to pay bills-it just comes out automatically, which is nice :)

There is a girl at work. She tells me it's not safe to pay my bills online.
