How do you organize your coupons?

Specifically, the ones for restaurants or activities? I have a little accordian file for the regular grocery coupons, but I can never figure out what do do with all the restaurant coupons and stuff like that, especially since some are huge and some are about one inch square! I generally just toss them in a basket, forget they are there until they expire, kick myself, and then throw them away! I need a better plan! LOL

I keep them in my accordion file..I have a coupon organizer that is on the longer side (maybe about 8.5" long)..I keep my coupons filed alphabetically by brand (well, in that all the A's go together, all the B's, etc), and then in the front there is a pocket area that is not assigned a letter that I keep several envelopes in. I have one for each store I shop at (Target, Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, grocery store, etc) and then a couple of extras, one for freebie coupons and one for restaurants. I rarely leave home without my organizer, even if I don't necessarily take it into the store with me.

I have a quart size ziploc in my purse for coupons for retail, restaurants, etc.

Ooh, I like the ziplock idea. I keep mine in an envelope, and grab it whenever I'm going out somewhere. But, there are always times when I'm out unplanned, and could use a coupon I have at home.

I use a little accordian file as well, since it's so compact and easy to grab.
