November Concerns

Since we had multiple birthdays in October and a few other unplanned expenses, we weren't able to save as much as I wanted to in order to pay for our cat Spooky's tooth extraction in November (to the tune of $500!).

I'm amazed how much it costs for pet care these days.

This weekend was the first with November's paycheck and I did pretty good. I went to the store with a list and bought what we needed. I was within budget, but could have used coupons to do better (I've got to work on this!).

When I was at the store I bought some soup so I could still have Sunday soup, just at home for a fraction of the price. Not the same, but it will do for a little while!

So far I have not bought anything that wasn't in the budget except for a $5 pair of panties that I plan on returning!

Thanks for the support! :)

I think I am going to try this copycat soup recipe-it sounds good to me now that the weather is getting cooler http://www.lynnskitchenadventures.com/2009/01/paneras-creamy-potato-soup.html
