I just like doing my work, collecting my pay and going home.

Once I started in management, I always said there is something to be said for clocking in and clocking out! I'm sure w/you on that one!!

Try not to stress too much before you know all the details. Easier said than done, I know. Good luck w/the situation. Keep us posted once you know more.

I just wanted to say you're not alone. I hope this all settles down for you soon and you have clarity about what to do.

The letter did not say anyone was being laid off.

hello!! i feel for you. i work in a grocery store and it seems like every week, our hours go down. part of it is the economy, but part of it is the fact that we keep hiring people we dont need. the boss keeps the schedule even-as in everyone has between 22 and 27 hours...but thats not really fair considering i've been there 11 years, some people have been there 2-3 years and some people have been there 3

Please try not to worry about it until you have all the details.
