Or letting your child take a break from them?  My son will be continuing with his meds since they have been helping with his facial tics.  Since they don't affect his appetite, I don't see a reason to stop.  What are you doing?

I gave my son a break from them, but now I think I made the wrong decision. He did good for the first several weeks at his after school/summer program. Today I was told that he could ps be thrown out of the program due to his behavior!! He got his 2nd write offs and 1 more time he may be dismissed. He hit a kid in the face, not wanting to listen and all around bad behavior. He will be 7 yrs old in sept and was diagnosed the adhd in kindergarten. He takes the lowest dosage of concerta, which helps him stay focused and calm. I feel so tired of going through "your son has had a bad day". I feel like screaming sometimes "I'm trying the best that I can!" It's overwhelming.

I'm sorry :( I hate that feeling of dread picking up your child because you don't want to hear what they have to say. Are you going to put him back on Concerta? I'm tempted to have my son try it again. I think it did the best with his focus issues, he just lost a lot of weight on it. He's at a perfect weight now, wouldn't mind trying a low dose.
