A child may HAVE ADHD, but it is not what they ARE. Never tell a child they ARE ADHD.

No clue about caffeine doses, etc; over the years on this board, some parents say it works for their kid, some say it doesn't (this is, of course, true for just about anything ADHD related!).

Meds--not sure if it'll help or not, but, I was pretty much against meds to start with (now, I'm a huge fan), what convinced me to try was, simply, that you could stop. It was only to see how it worked, if it worked. 99% of the side-effects go away once you stop (OK, this may depend on what med you start with). Mine's ADHD inattentive, too.

Curious if any of you have used chocolate covered espresso beans for this treatment?


I bought some yesterday...we are going to experiment for the next week before her appt.
