Does Concerta need to build up

My dd had taken Focalin for 3 1/2 yrs.

Concerta is the same med as Focalin basically, and it does not need to build up. They are both stimulants, but Concerta is a 12 hour, whereas Focalin is an 8 hour med. Concerta CANNOT be opened.
You could try a larger dose, or give a few weeks for her body to adjust
