How about something physical, like running laps around the playground? Or if in the class, jumping jacks in the hall? A sudden bit of activity helps my kid WAY more than trying to get him to sit quiet. Or, the activity & THEN the sitting quiet. We used to send him outside to run around the house.

Hi!

You may want to ask this question over at the IEP/Special Education board, but if I am correct, if the student is a special ed student and has and IEP, they can not be denied the same opportunities that reg ed students have due to FAPE.

I'm glad it worked out--the structure of the tennis is a great idea! My kid, also, has more trouble without structure being there.
