Going Away

I have to go to my hometown to help settle an estate and I am going alone. My husband is having a "fit" about this and I think it mostly has to do with the fact that he will have to handle "all of life" while I am away for a week.

This will be such a time for quiet reflection for me (I will be 45 on Tuesday) and as difficult as my husband is making it, I am going anyway. This is a birthday gift for me. My sons are 22 and 17 (the 17 year old has all the "problems")and can take care of themselves.

I guess I just wanted to "vent" and let all of you know that I will be taking you with me and resting for all of us. I will have plenty of time to think (as I am driving 1400 miles) and will hold you in those thoughts.

Thanks for all the good advice, hugs and support you give me.

I will let you all know when I get back.

Good for you!! Have a wonderful, cleansing, peaceful, rejuvinating journey! (and travel safely!)

Your dh will manage fine because he HAS to. Will he call incessantly to whine or ask you pointless questions on your cell phone the entire time you are away? I sure hope not!

Take care, and enjoy the journey! (and have an awesome birthday!!! Do anything you wanna do that day, and ENJOY!!) ~ ruth
