We had Matthew's parent teacher conference last night and all of the teachers, classroom, resource, speech, music, phys ed say he is doing so much better this year, which is great and I am so thankful, but now I'm wondering why things don't seem to improve at home.

Off the top of my head? He's working so hard to hold it together at school that he can't at home. Happens--I've seen it with other kids, and if my kid goes to school un-medicated, he has a really really hard time in the afternoon because of working so hard at school.

Behavior charts: Just pick numbers at random, even: You WILL be tweaking as you go along. As things get more "automatic", as you figure out what bits really work, etc. Um, obviously, deferring to your behavioral therapist, but if I tried to do too many different things on a chart, it got all confusing for everyone.

Congrats on such a good school conference! The fact that he is doing better at school is because of you, so I think you should take credit for it. If he was having problems you would blame yourself to some degree right? Good luck with the at home behavior. =)
