Hi, I am Kathy and I have a 12 yr old DS with ADHD and PDD. He is currently on
adderall, topamax and risperdal. He is mouth is terrible lately in School and at home.
He is cursing at me and his sisters, giving me the finger, etc. School he is mimicking people. I see his DR. next week. Any ideas.

My Stepdaughter, she's 17 now, used to act out like that when her friends said things to her that upset her. It would come on all of a sudden. That's how I knew. It was usually something simple that she had blown way out of proportion, but occassionally it was something I had to help with.
Usually it took 2 or 3 attempts to get her to open up...sometimes the threat of "if you don't tell me whats bothering you, you're going to live with the consequences of your actions" lecture, but eventually she'd open up and we'd talk it out.
Just a suggestion.
