I absolutely think that it is a good move to try medications with children with ADHD. We were hesitant to try them, but once we did, it was like a miracle. It truly is like giving glasses to someone who can't see well. Life changing in huge positive ways. I find it incredibly frustrating when I see or hear people knock medication for ADHD based on misinformation or hype. Medication has given our son the opportunity to succeed in school and in life.

Hi

I don't think it is an issue of right or wrong.

A child may HAVE ADHD, but it is not what they ARE. Never tell a child they ARE ADHD.
