IEP for ADHD?

I have my son on a 504 plan.. I love it and so does my son.. Last year my poor son was suspended more than he attended school. I wrote a letter to the principle, school counselor requesting a meeting to put my son on a 504 plan. I wrote down all the things my child needs to help him from being able to walk out of class to a quiet place, to listening to his IPOD... I had to be my childs voice.. This years an amazing difference he is in honor classes and hasn't been suspended one. (keeping my fingers crossed)
